What is an apothecary bottle?

Plastic apothecary bottles

PET has good properties in its pure form, which means that there is no need for additions. It is a transparent and resistant material that has strong barrier properties. Requirements for pharma packaging

Pharmacist bottles fall under the category of pharma packaging. It is essential to elucidate how a pharmaceutical packaging should be designed, as there are a number of requirements for this type of packaging in order to protect the product contents. We have made an overview of the specific requirements for pharma packaging:

• The company name and address of the responsible person must appear on the label or packaging
• The nominal content by volume shall be clearly indicated
• The minimum shelf life date must be stated and is the last day during which the product — if properly stored — retains its effectiveness and is safe for use.
• Special precautions must be provided
• The production series number or reference indication must be given
• The function of the product does not need to be translated if the words are integrated into the Danish language, such as shampoo
• The content declaration is made in order of decreasing weight at the time the ingredients are added to the product. The list should be marked with “Ingredients”
